Two-week event for teens in Oklahoma offers life lessons on a variety of subjects

Ascent is a discipleship program located in Ada, Okla., that is designed for young people ages 16-19. The program has been created to teach lifelong skills, deepen participants’ relationship with the Lord, help them find their identity and learn how to have better relationships with others.
At Ascent, each day is filled with fun activities and learning opportunities designed to help attendees grow in their faith and personal development. The program includes personal and group devotionals, lessons on identity and relationships, instruction on spiritual disciplines and Bible study, information on finances and physical health, opportunities for community outreach, and group activities and outings.
In 2024, this program will take place from June 9-21. The application period for the 2024 program runs from February 1 to April 30.
The program will cost $375 if lodging is needed and $275 if lodging is not required. Email Tami Jones, NextGen coordinator, for more information or if in need of a scholarship.
