What is the Center for Spiritual Renewal?
The Center for Spiritual Renewal (CSR) was designed with you, the Foursquare leader, at the heart of the ministry. CSR offers a range of services to restore, improve and maintain the spiritual, emotional and physical health of the women and men who serve as pastors and leaders of The Foursquare Church—because your health matters.
Foursquare ministers with current credentials can enjoy a complimentary week every year at one of the Center for Spiritual Renewal campuses. Talk with your church council about making it a regular part of stewarding your life as a leader, or as part of a sabbatical.

Stay in a fully furnished executive apartment and enjoy time away—whether on your own, with your spouse or with your immediate family. Located just outside downtown Los Angeles, House on the Hill offers Foursquare pastors and leaders a restful getaway—whether on your own or with your spouse. Receive pastoral counseling at no cost
We partner with a trusted network of pastoral counselors to offer Foursquare credentialed ministers counseling at no cost. Whether you’re facing ministry challenges, personal struggles or simply need a space to process life, we’re here to help. Contact CSR to be personally matched with a pastoral counselor who will share this season with you.
If additional care is needed, we can connect you with specialized support, including outside psychiatric services, professional life coaches, spiritual direction or therapy. Our goal is to come alongside you and ensure you receive the right care you need.
Leader crisis support
We care about your mental health and recognize that we are not a crisis or suicide response website. If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of suicide, please text the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741) or call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. While not operated by Foursquare, both services are free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you have an urgent pastoral care need not requiring an immediate response, reach out to CSR Director Paul Kuzma at 540.394.7222. All voicemails are confidential, and every attempt is made to return calls within 24 business hours.
