Western District Foursquare Leader Conference

Possessing the Land

Every place the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you…” (Joshua 1:3)

The people of God were never called merely to admire the promises of God from a distance—they were called to step forward in faith and possess what God had prepared for them. The land before them represented more than territory; it represented calling, inheritance, responsibility, and trust in the faithfulness of God.

In every generation, the Church stands at a similar moment. We are grateful for what has been built, but we also recognize there is still ground to take:

  • hearts waiting to encounter Christ,
  • communities longing for hope,
  • leaders ready to be empowered, and
  • future generations waiting to inherit a vibrant, Spirit-filled Church.

This year at FLC, we gather with a spirit of holy expectancy around the theme, Possessing the Land. Together, we will explore what it means to move courageously forward into the opportunities God has placed before us—not with fear or scarcity, but with faith, unity, and obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We hope to begin a conversation around these questions:
What territory has God entrusted to this generation?
Where is He calling us to lead with renewed courage?
How do we cultivate churches that flourish in changing times?

And how do we prepare the next generation to possess the promises of God for themselves?
With faith and expectancy…

Mark Slomka
Western District Supervisor

Tracks

Thursday | October 8 | 12:30-3:30

To pursue the life and renewal of Jesus, without adopting the lifestyle and rhythms of Jesus, inevitably will profoundly cost our relationships and our own soul. This track will explore specific spiritual disciplines and habits that are unique and powerful for those with a pastoral call. You can expect practical and theological tools to deepen your joy and intimacy with Jesus and explore how that can impact your kingdom mission and church community.

Strong marriages don’t happen by accident, and they’re not built on perfection. In this honest and practical track, Tim and Dhana share from their own journey of failure, growth, and lasting love. Together, you’ll explore how to build trust through transparency, fight for unity in conflict, and walk in forgiveness – real tools to strengthen your marriage and sustain both your life and ministry for the long haul.

Discover a practical, people-centered approach to developing a leadership pathway that spans every generation in your church. This seminar will equip you to identify, train, and empower emerging leaders—from youth to adults—through an intentional, church-wide strategy. You’ll explore proven tools and frameworks to nurture leadership at every stage of life, building a culture where individuals of all ages are encouraged to grow, lead, and become everything God has created them to be.

NextGen

At FLC, we value our NextGen kids and students just as much as we value the adults. We believe they deserve the same level of care, attention, and spiritual investment during every session.

Nursery to 5th Grade

We are excited to offer dedicated programming for NextGen from nursery through 5th grade during every session. Our team has thoughtfully prepared age-appropriate activities, worship, and teaching to help children grow in their faith while having fun in a safe and engaging environment. Parents can attend sessions knowing their kids are being cared for and spiritually nurtured.

Jr. High + High School

We encourage all our junior high and high school students to join us in the general sessions, where they can experience powerful worship and teaching alongside the larger church community. In addition, we’ve planned a special youth outing on Day Two—a fun and meaningful time designed just for them to build friendships and make lasting memories.

NextGen check-in will open 30 minutes before each session.
