The Foursquare Church is rich with stories. Our churches exist in diverse areas of the United States, but we are not disconnected.
The victories won, challenges faced and insights gained are shared in our family, from the rural heart to the urban core and back again. But how are we to hear these stories? In a noisy and over-saturated age of media, it can be hard to connect.
Every year, The Foursquare Church publishes three editions of Foursquare Leader magazine, and packs each one with articles, news and testimonies written to encourage, equip and connect you with your Foursquare family.
Foursquare Leader contains English and Spanish language sections. It’s a great way to share the local, national and global perspective as we follow the call of Jesus. And best of all, it’s a free resource to everyone via digital magazine or PDF download.
Our three annual editions are published in February, May and October. If you’re a Foursquare credentialed minister, you’ll get every print edition in your mailbox at no cost, or you can check back to digitally view them here when they release.
October 2017: Grow Up
Why is leadership development such a critical thing to get right? And how can we and our churches not only grow, but also remain healthy? These are the kinds of questions we tackle in the October 2017 issue of Foursquare Leader magazine.
Don’t miss the opening statement from General Supervisor Tammy Dunahoo explaining why leadership development is Foursquare’s first Missional Objective. And be sure to read about getting back on track with God’s vision for your life in Gateway District Supervisor Sam Rockwell’s article.
You’ll find inspirational stories of ministers who left the shadows of secret addiction to seek help in the light, along with articles and features that will help you see the hidden treasures in your own congregation. Download the magazine below, and see how you and your ministry can continue to grow up.
May 2017: Foursquare Connection 2017 Event Guide
This May’s issue brings you all the details of Foursquare Connection 2017, which takes place in Washington, D.C., May 29–June 1. Learn why this year’s theme is so timely, get to know mainstage speakers and find out who is leading worship.
Don’t miss the interesting look at how Foursquare’s legacy continues to unfold. See how many Holy Spirit and water baptisms we had last year, why it matters that we are multiethnic, and who makes up our diverse group of credentialed ministers.
With maps, voting information and descriptions of Training Sessions, this guide is especially helpful for those onsite in D.C. But everyone watching Connection Live from home will also find helpful the full schedule—because morning and evening sessions, as well as Conexión Hispana, will all be broadcast live.
February 2017: The Global Issue
Why are we more effective globally? That’s the question we consider in the first 2017 issue of Foursquare Leader.
As ministers of the gospel in an increasingly globalized society, it is imperative that we understand the myriad ways that God is working through the Foursquare family to reach the nations.
Whether you want to grasp the foundational ideas of the Four-Stage Model, hear inspiring stories of missionary work overseas or connect with the hearts of Foursquare executive leaders, you’ll find it all and more in the February 2017 issue.
