Jim Scott Appointed FMI Area Missionary to North America

The Foursquare Church has appointed Jim Scott to serve as Foursquare Missions International’s (FMI) area missionary to North America. In his new role as one of 11 area missionaries responsible for overseeing and coordinating FMI efforts in different regions of the world, Jim will be working with leaders in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

FMI Announces Leadership Transition

In what President Glenn Burris Jr. calls a “creative and forward-thinking direction,” Ted Vail and Jim Scott will be switching their Foursquare Missions International (FMI) roles in September. Ted will become vice president of global operations for Foursquare U.S. and director of FMI, with Jim taking on the responsibilities of associate director.

Foursquare Supports Orphans This Christmas

Approximately $41,000 was given to the 2013 FMI Children’s Christmas Offering, shares Foursquare Missions International Director Jim Scott, expressing his thankfulness to those who generously gave. This fell short of the goal, however, and donations are still needed for children to receive the care they so desperately need.
