FMI Announces Leadership Transition

In what President Glenn Burris Jr. calls a “creative and forward-thinking direction,” Ted Vail and Jim Scott will be switching their Foursquare Missions International (FMI) roles in September. Ted will become vice president of global operations for Foursquare U.S. and director of FMI, with Jim taking on the responsibilities of associate director.

Flint Residents Helped by Local Foursquare Churches

When two Foursquare churches not far from Flint, Mich., learned about the devastating water crisis, they immediately stepped in to provide clean water. Partnering with other denominations and service organizations, Foursquare volunteers have helped distribute 60,000 bottles of water so far.

Fernando Castillo Jr. to Supervise Southwest/Hawaii District

The Foursquare Church has announced that Fernando Castillo Jr. has been chosen as district supervisor for a new soon-to-be-named Foursquare district being created by bringing together the Hawaii District, where he has been district supervisor since 2013, and the Southwest District.
