Connection 2009—"Wide Open"—is just around the corner! We will gather May 25-29 in Anaheim, Calif., and we are expecting a great time of worship, fellowship, and inspiration.

Convention business includes the ratification of President Jack Hayford for a second term of office, as well as the ratification of one reappointed board member and several significant bylaw changes. The voting process that was implemented last year will be followed this year also. Please remember that you must keep up with the ballots you receive; lost ballots cannot be replaced. One thing that will greatly facilitate the conduct of the business sessions is for voting delegates to familiarize themselves with the information in advance, and there is now an online resource to allow you to do that.

The convention business website is now available:

The agenda for the 2009 convention business session includes supporting materials for presentations as well as e-mail links to each presenter so that you can direct comments and questions to each one. We hope that the interactive nature of the website will ensure that your questions and concerns are addressed before we gather in Anaheim. However, time has already been provided in the convention schedule for discussion and clarification as necessary.

Please take time to visit this website and begin to prepare for a wonderful time together at Connection 2009. And, if you have not yet registered, click here to get started. We look forward to seeing you in Anaheim!
