Solid Rock (Brentwood Foursquare Church) in Brentwood, Md., is seeking potential candidates for the full-time position of senior pastor. Candidates must be credentialed with The Foursquare Church. Their character must display humility in their personal and ministry life. We are seeking someone with Christlike compassion for both those in the church and those in the greater community. It is imperative that the candidate be immersed in the Word of God, as evidenced by their teaching and living. They must be able to raise up and release others into the work of the ministry. As one who empowers and equips others, they must also be lifelong learners who lead by being personally teachable and correctable. Solid Rock is a diverse congregation; their pastor needs to be an interactive and engaged communicator who can minister effectively to many types of people. The ideal candidate is skilled at leading a diverse congregation into its future needs and has a servant’s heart driven by love for Christ and his church, not some selfish need or ambition
