Real Life Foursquare Church is a relational, established church in Uptown Vancouver stepping into a new season of growth. We’re passionate about loving Jesus, building authentic community, and being known in our city as people who genuinely love others.

PASTORAL STAFF OPPORTUNITIES
(Full-Time)

We are currently looking to add 2 full time pastoral team members, and we’re flexible in shaping roles around the right people.

Areas of Need
We are especially looking for those with calling or experience in:

• Youth Ministry (highest priority)
• Worship Ministry
• Outreach/Evangelism
• Young Adult Ministry (with a heart to build something new)

These roles can be combined into 2 full-time position or filled as part-time roles by a few people.

• Someone who loves Jesus and feels called to ministry
• Someone who is relational, approachable, and people-oriented
• Someone who takes initiative and is excited to build and grow ministry
• Someone who is teachable and thrives in a team environment
• Someone who has a heart for discipleship and reaching people
• Someone who brings energy, joy and a good sense of humor

MINISTRY AREAS:

YOUTH MINISTRY (highest priority)
Heart: to reach and disciple middle and high school students (grade 6-12)

Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly youth gatherings and build a healthy, growing youth ministry
• Invest relationally in students and families
• Recruit, train and disciple a team of adult leaders
• Create opportunities for spiritual growth (services, small groups, camps, events)
• Reach unchurched students with a heart of evangelism

WORSHIP MINISTRY
Heart: to create an environment where people can encounter God through worship

Responsibilities:

• Lead worship during Sunday services
• Develop and disciple worship team members (musically and spiritually)
• Oversee band, vocals and service flow (sound/visuals/stream)
• Plan and organize weekly rehearsals
• Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to shape meaningful services

OUTREACH/EVANGELISM
Heart: To help our church become known in the community as people who love and serve others

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead outreach initiatives
• Equip the church to confidently share their faith
• Build relationships and partnerships within the local community
• Help create a culture of evangelism across all ministries

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
Heart: To create a thriving community for young adults (18-20’s)

Responsibilities:

• Launch and grow a young adult ministry from the ground up
• Build authentic community and discipleship environments
• Identify and develop emerging leaders
• Create gatherings, small groups and connection points

POSITION DETAILS

• Full-time or part-time (depending on role and candidate)
• Compensation based on experience and scope and includes free housing for full time roles
• Start date: Now, but flexible

EXPERIENCE

It is preferred that the candidate has experience at Bible School or church ministry in the field they are applying for.
