Location: San Angelo, Texas

Duration: Summer 2025, dates are flexible, ideally after Connection (early June) through August 1st

Compensation: $1,000 per month stipend, with potential for additional income based on leadership and involvement with summer camp.

Housing Assistance: Room available with the senior pastor’s family, with possible additional host home options.

About the Program: Parkside Community Foursquare Church is a small but growing church seeking a Children’s Ministry summer intern to gain hands-on ministry experience while making an impact in our community. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, assist in children’s discipleship and help coordinate outreach initiatives while working under the leadership of our senior pastor.

Internship Responsibilities: Interns will lead a summer discipleship class for kids on Wednesday nights, oversee Kids Church on Sunday mornings, help coordinate summer outreach events and participate in local para-church after-school programs and summer day camps to engage with kids and the community. The intern will also assist in developing and leading a summer camp for the North Texas Family Camp in July. There may be an opportunity to preach on a Sunday for capable and growing students.

Who Should Apply? We are looking for a student who is passionate about children’s ministry and community outreach, eager to grow in emotional health and leadership and ready to work under a female senior pastor. Applicants must also be prepared to handle a HOT Texas summer! A background or interest in administration, social media or communications is a plus.
