Kings Way Foursquare is a thriving church located in Sequim, Wash. We are a medium-sized congregation with a vision of connecting people with Jesus. Our 40-acre campus hosts Livewire Camps in the summer and is the location for Kings Way Leadership College, a new collaboration with Life Pacific University. Kings Way Leadership College exists to equip leaders for the journey of life by preparing them for personal and professional success.

This is a position with dual responsibilities.

As the Kings Way church youth director, you will work under the family pastor to disciple youth in the Sequim/Port Angeles community. Middle school is 6th-8th graders (usually 11-13 years old) and high school is 9th-12th graders (usually 14-18 years old).

As residential director for Kings Way Leadership College, you will be responsible for checking students in and out of campus housing at the beginning and end of the school year, responding to and documenting student emergencies, enforcing campus life rules and regulations and working with the campus director to maintain a safe, orderly and fun campus environment. Other tasks are to be assigned by the campus director.

Please remember that you have been assigned a specific area of responsibility but will be called upon to remain flexible in spirit. Although you have areas where you will “specialize,” you will often need to function as a “general practitioner.” Having a cheerful heart to serve where needed will help us better meet the needs of those that God has entrusted to us.

Experience needed:

• Associate’s degree or better. We prefer a bachelor’s degree in a ministry-focused designation.
• Key strengths in leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with the entire church population.
• High personal credibility with solid values consistent with church culture.
• Optimistic attitude and personally motivated to help others.
• Love for God and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Commitment to the vision at Kings Way and a member in good standing, thus a tithing member.
• Adherence to the Foursquare 22 Fundamental Statements of Faith and be submitted to the governing structure of Kings Way Foursquare Church.
• Read and agree to the Kings Way Church Employee Manual.
• Hard worker who is results-driven.
• Ability to discern needs and respond appropriately, sensitively and proactively.
• A professional demeanor.

This is a part-time job that includes compensation plus housing and utilities.
