Hope Brooklyn is a church family on mission with God in New York City. It is prayerfully seeking a seasoned leader who is called to diverse global‑city contexts to be their senior pastor to lead them in further developing their church, reaching their community. and advancing the kingdom of God in Brooklyn, New York.

This individual must have a level of maturity in the following areas…

1.     Character + spiritual health:

• Spiritually grounded, relational and vision-driven pastoral leader with proven ministry experience and a clear calling to shepherd and lead the local church.
• Demonstrates strong character, emotional health and theological alignment with Foursquare beliefs and practices.
• Anchored in disciplined rhythms of Scripture, prayer, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and Sabbath rest, with a servant-hearted and humble leadership posture.

2.    History + integrity in ministry

• Brings a history of integrity and resilience in ministry, marked by fruitful outcomes, maturity in addressing past challenges and ongoing personal and spiritual transformation.
• Operates within healthy accountability structures and values transparency, mentorship and correction.

3.    Leadership + experience

• An experienced leader—prepared to step into a Senior Pastor role—skilled in hearing from God, vision casting, preaching + teaching, communication and team development.
• Exhibits strong theological and doctrinal maturity, discernment in leadership decisions and the ability to define priorities and initiate thoughtful, intentional change.

4. Vision + calling

• Carries a compelling vision for the local church’s role within the Kingdom of God, with a deep commitment to evangelism, discipleship and both local and global missions.
• Feels a particular calling to lead and shepherd congregations in global city contexts, investing long-term in people, place and community transformation.

5.  Growth + development:

• Demonstrates a growth mindset and a strong commitment to ongoing spiritual, relational and organizational development—personally and in others.
• Teachable, open to feedback and intentional about empowering leaders and fostering healthy, sustainable ministry cultures rooted in the local community.
