Canby Foursquare, located south of Portland, Ore., is seeking a part-time worship assistant and youth leader for its congregation. We are a church of disciples making disciples of Jesus across all ages. We value families of all shapes and sizes hearing, believing and accepting the message of the story of Jesus Christ. We value worship as a lifestyle choice and, as such, focus our efforts heavily on hospitality and service. We are a church focused on transforming the whole person, including their head, heart and hands.

The worship assistant and young adults leader would assist the worship director in leading worship for Sunday morning services and occasional ministry events. This person would be asked to sing and play at least one lead instrument (guitar or keyboard preferred) and lead a group of musicians while engaging the congregation, in instruction and inspiration, to worship in song.

As the young adult leader, they would engage and encourage young adults in weekly meetings, outings and special events, lead a weekly Bible study, and plan and execute events under the direction and support of the NextGen pastor.

Prior experience leading worship, leading a group, leading a Bible study or planning events is desired.
Compensation TBD based on experience.
