Scripture describes God’s heart for those who are fatherless and motherless. Jesus says that pure and faultless religion as those who look after the “orphan”. Indeed, nothing demonstrates the powerful love of God quite like adoption. In this session, we will hear Pastor Mark and Geri Chester share their story of raising both their adoptive child and biological children. We will also hear from Lee Marshall, founder of Kids to Love, who will speak to the complex challenges foster and adoptive kids can face, including those stemming from trauma responses. Together, they will encourage us and give practical guidance and resources to empower our parenting.
