However, it can feel like we don’t have the people we need or that our efforts are effective. What if the leaders you need have been there all along? In this conversation, Melissa Brotherton and Cassi Wright will look at how we can overcome our picture of the perfect leader, ways our gender can impact our efforts to develop others, and some of the specific factors leaders should consider in developing women in ministry. Melissa Brotherton serves the Central District as the Women’s Mobilizer and is an ordained Foursquare pastor and lead pastor at Hope Boulder in Boulder, CO. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she now lives in Colorado with her husband, Josh, and their four children. She’s a voracious reader, a casual knitter, an avid Seahawks fan, and deeply devoted to Jesus and her family. Melissa holds an MA in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University and is passionate about helping people discover their identity, discern their next steps, and grow in leadership. Cassi Wright is the Senior Pastor at the San Angelo, Texas Foursquare church. A self proclaimed hyper-local pastor, Cassi is passionate about engaging the community & finding creative ways to serve those with the most needs. She is married to Buddy and they have one teenage son. Cassi also serves the Central South (aka: Texas) Women’s Mobilizer. She’s been part of Foursquare for 34 years! Attending, serving & leading in 3 churches before pastoring in San Angelo. You most likely know Cassi from North Texas family camp where she spent over a decade as the camp admin, and now leads Kids Camp.
