Leadership Labs
Friday Morning
Church leaders and pastors today face a shifting landscape where traditional outreach methods no longer produce the results they once did—new faces aren’t filling the pews, and the surrounding community has changed. This lab equips leaders and pastors to move beyond frustration and stagnation by developing a clearer understanding of their community and its real needs. Through creative, innovative approaches to evangelism, participants will discover fresh strategies for sharing the unchanging gospel in ways that genuinely connect with people today. Leaders leave with renewed vision, practical tools, and the confidence to engage their communities with relevance, compassion, and courage.
Presenters: Clinton, IA – Billy & Mandy Holden | Highlands Ranch – Judah & Candace Trabulsi
Billy & Mandy Holden met and fell in love after graduating from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas in 2000 and 2002, and married that same year. Together they are raising five amazing children: Charity, 22, a recent LPU graduate; Billy, currently attending LPU; Grayson, 13; and their twins, Luna and Liam, 8, whom they adopted in 2020. In 2010, they planted Innovation Church, where they continue serving as Senior Pastors. Their passion is creating irresistible environments where the unchurched and dechurched can safely explore Jesus and His Word in a casual, engaging, and welcoming atmosphere. They love serving their community through outreach initiatives like Serve Sundays, City Impact Weekends, and their partnership with the local DCS agency. In 2020, they launched the Innovation Foster Closet, providing free clothing and essential care items to foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
Candace and Judah Trabulsi have spent the past 20 years serving in ministry and helping people find hope, purpose, and community. In response to a deep calling for their city, they moved their family downtown into an underserved neighborhood to plant a church rooted in presence, relationship, and the love of Jesus. They are raising teenagers, love a good adventure, and are passionate about creating pathways for people who might otherwise never walk into a church or experience Jesus personally.
Great ministry is rarely built alone, yet countless pastors struggle to find, develop, and empower the leaders around them. Designed for those ready to move from isolation and exhaustion to shared leadership, this lab equips pastors to recruit, develop, and empower volunteer leaders while building strong, healthy teams without relying on a paid staff. Participants will discover how to identify leadership potential, create sustainable team cultures, and put practical systems in place for multiplying leaders at every level. Leaders leave with the tools, mindset, and confidence to release leadership effectively, resulting in greater ministry health and multiplied impact.
Presenters: Clinton, IA – Jordan Wall | Highlands Ranch, CO – Vaughn Fahrenbruck
Jordan Wall is the founding and Senior Pastor of Revitalize Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. With more than 20 years of full-time ministry experience, Jordan has served in leadership roles spanning worship, operations, next generation ministry, and church planting. He is passionate about helping people follow Jesus and live out the Great Commission in their everyday lives. Since launching Revitalize Church in 2022, Jordan has led with a vision to build a life-giving, Spirit-filled church that helps people grow in faith and impact their communities. His heart is to encourage people in their walk with Jesus and help them discover and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. He and his wife, along with their four children, call Kalamazoo home.
Vaughn Fahrenbruck is the lead pastor of The Rock Church in North Platte, Nebraska, where he is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, and live on mission. He also serves as the Area Pastor for the Central District across Nebraska and South Dakota, providing care, encouragement, and resources for pastors and ministry leaders throughout the region. Vaughn is passionate about developing healthy leaders, strengthening churches, and creating engaging church culture. Known for his authentic communication style and practical leadership, he enjoys helping people grow in both their faith and influence. He and his wife Jill love serving in ministry together and are raising their four kids — Aspen, Mikah, Brooklyn, and Hollynd. Much of their life is filled with the joys, laughter, chaos, and meaningful moments that come with parenting and building a Christ-centered home while serving the local church and regional ministry leaders.
A vibrant Pentecostal ethos doesn’t happen by accident; it must be intentionally cultivated, pastorally led, and woven into every dimension of church life. Yet many pastors wrestle with what that looks like in practice, from leading spiritually diverse congregations to guiding people into the baptism of the Holy Spirit in ways that are healthy, pastoral, and biblically grounded. This lab moves beyond theory into practical application, equipping leaders to embed a holistic Pentecostal ethos into their services, leadership practices, and discipleship pathways. Leaders leave with renewed clarity and confidence to steward the presence and power of the Holy Spirit faithfully and wisely, forming communities of ongoing encounter where Pentecostal identity is truly lived out.
