Cabinet 2017. Foursquare Family Business.

State of Foursquare Foundation

The Foundation’s interim CEO, Joseph Wainer, reported that Foursquare Foundation’s investments and partnerships in ministry continue to be fruitful and effective.

As part of the Reimagine process, Foursquare Foundation no longer gives project grants; instead, the Foundation allocates funds for different entities. The following is a list of the 2016 allocations:

FMI $2,400,000
Global Cities Strategy $250,000
Education $358,849
Global Council $1,000,000
Risser Endowment $940,000
Foursquare Senior Living(FSL) Subsidies $95,000

The Foundation is continuing with the transition that is designed to increase its fruitfulness and alignment with Foursquare mission. A new charter and bylaws have been developed, and they are now beginning work on the following:

  • Populating the new Foundation board
  • Hiring a new CEO
  • Achieving greater missional effectiveness and creating more income streams

As Foursquare Foundation partners in mission activity throughout 2017, more people will be born again, and laborers will continue to be trained, equipped and sent into the harvest field thanks in part to their efforts.
