DEVELOPMENT LUNCHES

Some of the best ministry conversations happen around a table. Development Lunches will bring together leaders who share a common role, season of life, or desired area of growth for a time of rich discussion, connection, collaboration, and practical Q&A led by a high-caliber leader within your sphere. 

Sign-up for a development lunch within your FLC registration.

For those who carry the weight of leading a team and congregation, this lunch will offer a space for candid conversation, shared wisdom, and peer connection with fellow senior leaders.

Join this lunch for a practical, Spirit-led conversation on tuning our hearts and minds to hear God’s voice with greater clarity. We will discuss how to cultivate a deeper understanding of how the voice of God operates and how to function at a greater level with the spiritual gifts in our everyday lives.

Gather with other worship leaders and creatives to discuss how to lean into the prophetic during worship, including how to discern spontaneous moments in worship and lead people in expectancy for God to move.

Calling is eternal – assignments are temporary. This lunch will explore what it means for leaders to finish well, steward their influence, and identify and prepare for what’s next. 

A table for women in leadership to share honestly, encourage one another, and talk practically about the unique joys and challenges of ministry life. This lunch will also include an update on the latest opportunities for development and community for female pastors and leaders in our district.

Connect with other leaders invested in the next generation for a conversation around discipleship, youth culture, and best practices for building ministries where young people come alive in Jesus.

Bring your passion for the global Church to the table — this lunch is for current and potential missionaries (those who feel called to the nations) to learn about how FMI develops and prepares those called to the mission field. Leaders with a heart for church planting, cross-cultural ministry, and reaching the unreached are encouraged to attend.

We will be gathering in TWO locations this year. Join us for one or both! The first will take place in Smyrna, GA, just outside of Atlanta, on September 24 – 26 at The Square Church. The second will take place in Gettysburg, PA, October 1 – 3, at Gettysburg Foursquare. The Square Church (Smyrna) is located at 981 Powder Springs St, Smyrna, GA 30080. The closest airport is Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). Gettysburg Foursquare Church is located at 328 W Middle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325. The closest, major airports are Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) OR Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI).

Yes, we’ll stream it (but we’d rather see you in person!). We stream every general session + a few workshops. Info on how to stream the conference will be available closer to the event.

Your registration covers entry to the event itself. Travel, lodging and most meals (We will provide dinner on Friday and the Development Lunches come with a pre-paid lunch.) are not included, so you’ll want to plan for those separately. We have some great hotel group rates to help you save.

Yes! We encourage everyone in your family to attend. We will have NextGen classes Nursery through 12th grade available during FLC. They will have their own unique lessons, activities, and space to enjoy FLC in their own way. Registration rates apply. Please register your children in advance. NextGen registration closes September 10th. No late onsite accommodations will be made for NextGen.

If you’re local and want to attend one day or one evening session, you can! Registration rates apply. NextGen (kids + youth) registration closes August 31. If you wish to have childcare while you attend a single day or one session, please register in advance. No late onsite accommodations will be made for NextGen.

We offer an early bird rate starting May 25th that runs until June 30th and a regular rate that runs from July 1st – August 31st. The early bird rate will get you $50 off the late/onsite registration cost.

We also offer discounted registration to groups. If you register 5+ individuals at the same time you get $10 off each registration (NextGen is excluded from the group rate.). We encourage you to sign up your whole team together.

NextGen & Forerunners (retired ministers) are also given a reduced rate price to attend the conference.

No refunds will be issued after September 10th, 2026 for the Atlanta location and September 17th for the Gettysburg location. Registrations can be transferred to qualified individuals of that registration type prior to September 24th, 2026 for the Atlanta location and October 1st for the Gettysburg location. Requests for registration refunds, adjustments, or cancellations must be received in writing two weeks prior to the event, via email to Cheri Melton @ cmelton@foursquare.org.

If the event is canceled, registration expenses will be refunded.  Travel expenses are the attendee’s responsibility and will not be compensated by The Foursquare Church. 

Booth or advertising space is limited to Foursquare entities currently. Booth or advertising space is not available for outside organizations at this time.
