Foursquare NextGen National Ministries
The Foursquare NextGen National Ministries exists to support the vision of the Foursquare youth groups across the nation by fulfilling a three-fold process:
- Building Community: We want to be
"intentional" on how we connect the Foursquare youth of our nation.
This will be accomplished by establishing regional "Hot Spots".
These are selected youth groups with dynamic leadership focusing on
reaching the next generation of young people, and in return they will
become "resource churches" for leadership training and effective models
of youth ministry. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" Proverbs 27:17
- Building Leaders: If we don’t train leaders today, we
will not have leaders tomorrow. This has to be the focus of our
resources and attention. As we build community, this will facilitate
the training of our future leaders. This will also be accomplished
through "Hot Spots" and up-coming national events.
- Releasing the Next Generation: We wouldn't be
doing what we do, if we didn't love young people. We need to disciple
students in the ways of the Lord and release them into their God given
destinies. It is the vision of the Foursquare NextGen National Ministries to
provide the training and resources that will help the field do this
effectively.
