Sponsored by the Foursquare Rabbis Caucus, the Second Annual Foursquare Messianic Passover Seder is being held on Friday, March 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Temple Hispanic Foursquare Church in Los Angeles.

Christian and Messianic leaders will be gathering for the event, and key leaders in the Los Angeles area will be present for the night of blessing, unity and fellowship. Seder masters and longtime Foursquare leaders Rabbi Hylan Slobodkin (Beit Tikvah Messianic Congregation in Newcastle, Wash.) and Rabbi Shmuel “Sammy” Oppenheim (Lev HaShem Messianic Jewish Synagogue in Las Vegas) will lead, and teach the story of the Exodus and how Israel’s redemption from bondage is linked to our redemption in Jesus.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the Jewish roots of Christianity. Attendees will celebrate the deliverance from Egypt and see the Last Supper come to life. They will clearly see how Jesus fulfilled the Passover.

Lev Shelo and Corry Bell will lead Messianic worship. And because Jesus longed to eat the Passover meal with His disciples, a full-course dinner is included with registration.

Jack Hayford endorses the Foursquare Rabbis Caucus: “Right before our eyes, a healthy, even-handed and sensitively-spirited nucleus of Messianic Jewish ministry leaders is rising within The Foursquare Church. These rabbis are men of biblical solidity and substance, spiritual and relational commitment within the Foursquare movement, and marked by a sound-minded stability in their lives, character, witness and growing influence within the larger Jewish community. I endorse their genuineness.”

Rabbi Jeff Montanari, a Foursquare Rabbis Caucus leader, emphasizes Foursquare’s historical support of the Jewish community.

“Since the late 1920s, Sister McPherson had a rich tradition and calling to reach the Jewish community with the gospel,” says Rabbi Montanari. “The Foursquare Church is continuing this vision and mission through the support of the Foursquare Rabbis Caucus. This is a great time in our movement and a great moment to impact the kingdom of God at this critical revelation hour.”
