Your church has been growing, your systems are in place, discipleship is the normal process of life, and yet things have stalled. There are surrounding communities you long to reach, but you cannot seem to make connections and gain ground.

It’s time to plant. Or is it? Marion Ingegneri, Jerry Dirmann and Peter Bonanno are key Foursquare practitioners of an alternative model of kingdom growth: multi-site ministry. This way of multiplying ministry is sometimes met with resistance. It can seem “my kingdom” oriented, as if we are building our own empires. But these seasoned leaders have experience in avoiding the pitfalls and allowing the flourishing of churches across peoples, cultures and city contexts.

The vision of multi-site growth is “one church meeting in multiple locations.” While that sounds nice and simple, there are a lot of areas to be considered. How are sermon texts and topics chosen? What is up for negotiation, and what is essential to maintain unity? How do you staff for needed resources at the local level without losing the cohesive sense of one church?

Some people have to dive in and figure this kind of complexity out for themselves—pioneers do not get to learn from others. But there is wisdom in getting a multitude of counsel when it is available. During Foursquare Connection 2014 in Dallas, this Multiply Track covered strategic and practical areas of multi-site implementation, including discipleship programs, reporting, finances and much more.

Whether you are interested in multiplying this way or just want to hear the hearts of pastors who are living this model as a scripturally founded strategy that puts the kingdom and the Word of God at the center, download the 80-minute audio session, which includes all three speakers sharing systems and strategies, as well as a question-and-answer session.

This “Multiply: Locations” track is available as a free audio download. For more Foursquare Connection 2014 content on DVD or digital downloads, order the Foursquare Connection 2014 Experience Kit.
