A Radical Faith: Essentials for Spirit-Filled Believers by James W. Goll is a review of the basics of the Christian faith. The author, who serves as president of Encounters Network and international director of Prayer Storm, describes this new release as a “book-length Bible study on one theme, the enduring fundamentals of the faith that must be built into the foundation of every mature Christian.”

God has a master plan for our lives, the author contends; A Radical Faith includes 12 foundational aspects of a believer’s life, all scripturally based. Using the example of building a house, Goll says that the most basic “house” of all is the human body that houses a person’s spirit and soul. Ideally, God provides the building materials and maintenance instructions, and He alone is also the foundation.

This practical volume answers the questions, “What do we believe, and why?” It would make an excellent resource for leaders to pass on to new believers, seekers, or those pursuing church membership, as well as believers whom they are discipling. It also is a solid and thorough review for any believers interested in refreshing themselves with the strong foundations of the Christian faith.
