Search for Life Pacific College President Currently Underway

The search committee of Foursquare’s historical Bible college is considering applications for president, with a decision on the new leader expected in May. The successful candidate will take over at a key time in the history of the 90-year-old college. To date, Life Pacific College has prepared around 27,000 men and women for Christian service in nearly 140 countries.

Josh Prenot from Lompoc Foursquare Church in Lompoc, Calif., competed in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for swimming this past summer, breaking a record in his age group. Even though he didn’t make the 2012 Olympic team, it was still a dream come true, and he’s striving toward becoming an Olympian in 2016. The support of his church, he says, has been invaluable.

Foursquare College Grad Launches Mobile Church Movement

Rebecca Schaub—recent Life Pacific College grad and assisting minister at Gateway (Salem South Foursquare Church) in Salem, Ore.—and three young colleagues are setting out August 17 on a 15-state trek that will take them to around 20 churches to serve, encourage and learn. Rebecca hopes this will be the first of multiple future teams that will go out to different districts.

Day 3: Youth and International Focus; Hundreds Gather for Conexión Hispana

The third day of Foursquare Connection 2012 emphasized reaching the under-30 crowd, and highlighted how God is using The Foursquare Church worldwide. Over 300 leaders also gathered for Conexión Hispana. In addition, attendees enjoyed a variety of Learning and Connection Tracks targeting specific subjects and tailored to different leadership roles.
