Historical Tours and Area Attractions Complement Connection 2015

In addition to teaching and fellowship, Foursquare Connection 2015 offers many opportunities to learn about Foursquare’s history and have fun in Southern California. Several tours will be available to historical sites such as Angelus Temple and the Heritage Center, and area churches will welcome visitors. Families will be able to enjoy theme parks and other local offerings—and don’t forget the many great places to shop.

Churches Gave Generously to Bless Missionaries This Christmas

Taking part in Foursquare Missions International’s “Bless a Missionary Family This Christmas” campaign, Foursquare churches in the U.S. gave more than $28,000 to bless Foursquare missionaries worldwide this holiday season. Donations to the project can still be made through February, and the offering will be divided equally among all FMI missionary families.

Foursquare Giving Helps Flood Victims in Sri Lanka

More than one million people had to flee their homes after flooding in Sri Lanka in December, and approximately 40 lives were lost. Damage was widespread, and many lost their dwellings, properties and ability to earn farming income. But Foursquare Disaster Relief has helped hundreds of families work toward recovery, thanks to Foursquare members’ generosity.

Proposed Foursquare Bylaw Changes in 2015

The Foursquare bylaw committee has posted proposed bylaw changes online for Foursquare ministers to review and offer feedback. Key changes center on churches, personnel and property. Once the board has confirmed the bylaw amendment proposals are ready for final consideration, they will be released to the convention body for voting at Foursquare Connection 2015.
