In a landmark moment this May coinciding with The Foursquare Church's international convention in Anaheim, Calif., four former directors of Foursquare Missions International (FMI) and current FMI Director Jonathan Hall joined together onstage for a special time of corporate prayer during a luncheon hosted by Foursquare Missions Press (FMP). The event included a united effort among the 400 guests to pray for the nations, as well as a prayer of dedication over FMP's new four-color press.

The four former FMI directors—Leland Edwards, Don McGregor, Jim Tolle and Mike Larkin—and current director Jonathan Hall, along with Robby Booth, assistant general supervisor of The Foursquare Church, led those gathered in prayer for five regions of the world. The dozens of international leaders present were recognized and also received special prayer.

"This was a once-in-a-lifetime event," said FMP Director Bob Hunt. "It was a great honor to have all five FMI directors at this event. Each one, in his own way, has contributed to our ministry's success since 1981."

FMP was founded in 1981 by Karl and Leona Williams, who recognized the great need for free gospel literature around the world. Beginning with the couple's generous donations, FMP continues to be funded entirely by the gifts of friends and churches.

The luncheon event gave FMP the opportunity to thank the many donors who made the new press possible, including Pastor Chris Bayer of Church on the Rock in Gig Harbor, Wash., whose church gave $100,000. FMP also thanked Pastors Rick and Carol Danna, senior pastors of The Cornerstone in Anaheim, Calif., for allowing the ministry to work within their facility rent-free.

To date, FMP has distributed nearly 170 million pieces of gospel literature into 110 nations and 52 languages. For more information on this vital ministry, visit www.foursquaremissionspress.org.
