The annual Foursquare convention will convene in Houston next week.

"I'm asking each of you to arrive with expectancy that He will answer our prayers!" says Foursquare President Jack Hayford. "Come, as we 'move ahead'—moving past habits of 'business as usual,' into the future—with a united heart, crying out, 'Even So Come, Lord Jesus!'"

Registration
Pre-registered attendees should have received their registration credentials in the mail, including a name badge and, if applicable, a sheaf of ballots for convention voting. Those that have not received their registration credentials in the mail should call 877.423.4633 and press option 1.

All other registration requests—including new registrations—will be available onsite in Houston. Online, fax and phone registrations are no longer available.

Registration includes access to all morning and evening sessions, which are filled with worship and teaching, as well as all workshops on such practical topics as leadership, children's ministry and connecting with missionaries. Each registration includes a breakfast buffet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

New Additions
Pastor Jack Hayford and the executive team are hosting a pre-convention Sunday morning service featuring Karen Heimbuch. A worship leader and speaker, Karen will deliver a stirring dramatic presentation from the book of Revelation. Pastor Jack will also lead a special time of worship and communion. The service begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 25, at the Hilton Americas—Houston, Ballroom of the Americas, Level Two. Childcare will not be provided.

Ron Luce, founder of Teen Mania, will offer a workshop on Tuesday afternoon, "The Anatomy of a Next-Gen Church." Luce will share the tools to stop the "80% of teens that stop going to church after they graduate." The answer rests in turning the paradigm of the entire church towards passing the baton to the next generation. Thousands of churches have already seen the turn around in their teen reach and retention.

A movie screening of the documentary, Lord, Save Us From Your Followers, will be shown on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The film explores the collision of faith and culture in America. Fed up with the angry, strident language filling the airwaves that has come to represent the Christian faith, director Dan Merchant (a member of Beaverton Foursquare Church) set out to discover why the gospel of love is dividing America. The screening will be in the Ballroom of the Americas, Level Two, Hilton Americas—Houston.

Exhibit Hall and Passport Program
The exhibit hall has been revamped this year and will offer live music, daily drawings, beverages, snacks, complimentary Internet access and valuable resources. As you visit the exhibit booths, ask the exhibitors to stamp the passport you'll receive with your registration materials. When you fill up all 10 spaces, drop your passport off at the stage in the exhibit hall and enter to win! You have the chance to win many prizes and giveaways.

Session Speakers
Several inspirational and thought-provoking speakers will join us in Houston, both from within the Foursquare family as well as Foursquare friends from leading churches across the nation. Be sure not to miss such speakers as Tammy Dunahoo, the national director of Foursquare Women, and Randy Remington, who serves as senior pastor of Beaverton Foursquare Church in Beaverton, Ore., and as the district supervisor of the Foursquare churches in Alaska.
