Urban & Multicultural Ministries

More than 1.2 million immigrants settle in the United States each year, according to the Center for Immigration Studies. Recent totals speculate that nearly 30 million immigrants now reside in the U.S.—a number that has more than tripled since 1970.

Realizing the U.S. is only becoming more diverse, Urban & Multicultural Ministries partners with and assists Foursquare leaders, churches and members in effective ministry through a variety of ethnicities in diverse contexts. This unique ministry includes a network of ethnic and multiethnic leaders that serve primarily Native American, African-American, Brazilian, Korean and Hispanic groups living in the United States.

The Urban & Multicultural Ministries team serves the Foursquare family by expanding ethnic ministry into new areas by assisting U.S. churches with multicultural leadership, translating resources, providing training, and even looking to resolve immigration issues.

With U.S. population numbers expected to reach 438 million by the year 2050, we have the unique opportunity to reach out to our ethnically diverse nation. There is an unparalleled opportunity for The Foursquare Church to take the gospel to people coming to our own cities.
