RSS (Really SImple Syndication) is an online tool that delivers a website's content directly to you. You can subscribe to a Foursquare RSS feed to receive an alert when Foursquare.org is updated. This allows you to have the most up-to-date information in your areas of interest without having to visit the site or give out your e-mail address. All you need is an RSS reader, like the free web-based Google Reader, to get started.
In addition to the feeds listed here, look for the small orange RSS icons on pages across the site to subscribe to a number of other feeds from Foursquare.org.
