Administration

May 30, 2012 — 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

The Administration track will be split into two parallel sessions—one for executive pastors and one for church administrators. The groups will begin together in a large classroom setting, then break apart for practical, focused discussion geared to each group.

Practical topics will include developing mission and vision statements, maximizing church facilities and wise budgeting practices. The groups will also delve deeper, looking at how to lead and release, deal with conflicts that arise and foster direct and edifying conversations. A hot-button issue with churches in recent days, social media also will be discussed; participants will discuss the risks and rewards, and how to carefully and effectively use this real-time communication.
