
Kelly was born and raised in California. At the age of 16, he tragically lost his mother to emphysema. Through the death of his mother, he began to search for answers; he found those answers in Christ. At the age of 17, he committed his heart and life to Jesus Christ. He was baptized and joined the Hesperia Foursquare Church (New Life Chapel) in 1985.
Kelly started ministry at the age of 19 by helping to establish Youth for Truth, the youth ministry of New Life Chapel, in Hesperia, Calif. After 11 years as youth pastor, leading more than 250 students and 25 leaders every week, Kelly was asked to join the National Foursquare Youth Ministry.
Kelly was part of the National Foursquare Youth Ministry in 1998 and 1999 under the leadership of National Youth Director Jerry Dirmann. There he served as event director for regional and national youth conferences.
From 1999-2002 Kelly served as district youth director for the Midwest District of Foursquare Churches under the leadership of District Supervisor Larry Spousta. While there, he facilitated the following:
In 2003 Kelly join the pastoral team at The Rock in Anaheim, Calif., in preparations to plant a new church in South Orange County, Calif. In 2004 Kelly, as lead pastor, and a team of 20 individuals launched the South County Foursquare Church in Mission Viejo, Calif.
Family
Kelly met his wife Leah in high school. They have been married since Dec. 16, 1989. On Oct. 28, 1996 they were blessed with the birth of their first daughter, Rachel. On July 19, 2000 they were blessed with their second daughter, Emma. The Fellows family has a passion to lead people to discover and become exactly who God has created, called and commissioned them to be.
