4. What do we hope to accomplish with the Foursquare Association?

To create a relationally based culture where like-minded ministers can connect with Foursquare in an informal relationship that is strategically based on shared values, doctrine and mission. read more

5. Why would someone want to join the Foursquare Association?

Joining the Foursquare Association encourages and provides a network for ministers who sense a common spirit, value, mission and commitment to the kingdom of God. read more

6. What are the connection points for each level of leadership?

The responsibility of the district and division is to identify potential ministers who share in The Foursquare Church's common mission and value system. read more

7. What will it cost the district?

The cost to the district involves the investment of time to connect potential members, advise them in the process, and integrate them into The Foursquare Church. read more

8. What will be available to a Foursquare leader regarding information to interested pastors?

The Foursquare Church is preparing a Foursquare Leader's Kit to clearly communicate what the Foursquare Association is about. read more

9. At what point does the district get involved in the Association process?

The district office engages once someone expresses interest or inquires about involvement in the Association. read more

10. Can a senior pastor of a local church serve on the District Advisory Committee?

At the Community level, a minister would not be permitted to serve on the District Advisory Committee. At the Credential level, permission is granted. read more

11. What does the process look like?

The process provides initial contact with The Foursquare Church by receiving a Foursquare Association Interest Kit or application for membership. read more

12. How long will the process take?

The expected time frame from the start of the application process to membership is dependent upon the level of desired membership. read more

13. Is there a Foursquare Association Office?

The office of the Foursquare Association is located at the Central Offices of The Foursquare Church in Los Angeles. read more

14. Can a minister join the Foursquare Association if the church they serve at is not a part of The Foursquare Church?

Yes! At the Community level and at the Credential (non-Foursquare appointment) level. read more

15. What are the points of accountability for pastors or ministers?

Personal and ministry accountability will be achieved through the continuity of relationships and governance as deeper involvement in the Association occurs. read more

16. Can Association membership be terminated?

Yes, membership at the Community level is a voluntary, at will relationship and may be terminated by either The Foursquare Church or by the applying minister. read more

17. Will the formation of the Foursquare Association require any bylaw changes?

There are current bylaw amendments being considered in order to facilitate and empower the Foursquare Association and its constituency. read more
