Glenn C. Burris Jr. was elected as president of The Foursquare Church by the convention voting body during Connection 2010, held May 31-June 3 in Atlanta. Glenn will assume his new responsibilities on October 1. Shortly after Glenn was elected, Tammy Dunahoo was appointed to the office of general supervisor. She is the first woman to serve the U.S. Foursquare churches in this role, an achievement that was recognized in a recent article by Charisma Magazine.
